If you are anything like me, you have probably spent hours searching diligently for those special heels in
all your favourite stores. The ones that will transform your wardrobe and have you the talk of the town at your next social outing.
Chances are you have just arrived home, carried your car load of shopping bags into the house and dropped to the couch wondering what to do next to sooth your tired, sore feet and aching body.
Emotionally fulfilled, it is now time to pamper your body. This is what we suggest.
Run a hot bath. Then grab a glass of water and drink it while you are waiting for the bath to fill. You probably haven’t noticed how dehydrated your body is. Then grab your favourite foot cream, we recommend peppermint and lavender, a small cloth, a fluffy towel, a candle and some bath salts and take it to the bathroom. Throw the salts into the bath, light the candle and jump in the bath with the cloth rolled up under your head as a pillow.
Then let the relaxation begin. Close your eyes for a few minutes and enjoy the feeling of the warm water soothing your body and the fragrance of the salts filling the air. Then open your eyes and watch the gentle flicker of the candle while your body rests. When you are ready, get out the bath, wrap yourself in your big fluffy towel and get ready to massage the foot cream into those saw feet.
When you have done that, put on some warm socks and sit down to a good movie or an interesting book. That is, of course, after you have modelled all your new purchases to everyone who happens to be home!
